Whale Shark's Fast Food

 If you guessed lots of fish, you’re right! On a recent expedition to Indonesia the guys from Conservation International recorded this video of a whale shark eating small bait fish from the net or a local fisherman. The sharks have learned to suck the fish right though the nets. The fishermen consider it good luck to feed the sharks!

Fish with a Transparent Head

This intriguing fish with a clear, glass-dome-like head shielding its internal eyes is called a Barreleye fish. Found 2,000 feet deep in the Pacific Ocean it uses its sophisticated eyes that contain both lenses and mirrors in the eye to see food in blackjack the darkest of waters.
